Now on Early View: Revisiting Impartiality: Social Media and Journalism at The BBC

Valérie Bélair-Gagnon’s article “Revisiting Impartiality: Social Media and Journalism at The BBC” has just been published on Early View. The author draws on David Altheide’s framework of ‘Ecology of Communication’ to examine how the influx of “techies” in the BBC newsrooms has influenced the production of news and the so-called “architecture of impartiality” at the BBC. The article can be downloaded here, if you are a subscriber of the journal or a member of SSSI.
