Review of Will C. Van den Hoonaard’s “The Seduction of Ethics” out on Early View

In his review of Will C. Can den Hoonard’s ‘The Seduction of Ethics‘ Jim Thomas explains that the author of the book “argues that REBs, while usually well-meaning, have intruded into, and thereby made more difficult, qualitative data gathering”. The impact on qualitative research and researchers is profound, whilst the subjects under study by no means are any safer than prior to the introduction of Research Ethics Boards.

Jim Thomas’ review now is on Early View.
