Introduction to Special Section on ‘Space and Time’ #sssi #sociology #space #time

There has been long-standing, yet not consistent, interest in ‘Space’ and ‘Time’ in sociology in general and interactionism in particular. The Special Section on ‘Space and Time’ edited by Peter M. Hall published in Symbolic Interaction is comprised of very important contributions to those debates. Save for some of the articles included in the Special Section that have already been or will shortly be published on Early View – Janelle Wilson on ‘Nostalgia’, Jennifer Cross on place-attachment, Braden Leap on the redefinition of space, Daina Harvey on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and  Patricia Wasielewski on ’emotional geography’, Symbolic Interaction has just published Peter M.
