Review of Tim Highfield’s “Social Media and Everyday Politics” on Early View #sssi #sociology

Today we are all the more aware that Twitter is used by politicians and for political purposes. As Rituparna Patgiri writes in her review,  Tim Highfield “very beautifully highlights the role that social media plays in organizing or helping movements and protests. Because of social media, such “political” activities become very commonplace in nature. The everyday, personal, and individual is connected to the non-every day, political, and collective.” Members of SSSI can download Rituparna Patgiri’s review of Tim Highfield’s book “Social Media and Everyday Politics” by clicking the image below.
