New Article: ‘Playing the Interrogation Game’ by Gary David and colleagues #sssi #emca #sociology #policing

We have just published Gary David, Anne Rawls and James Treinum’s article “Playing the Interrogation Game: Rapport, Coercion, and Confessions in Police Interrogations” on Early View of Symbolic Interaction. In the article the authors show how police interrogations are organised in order to elicit a confession from the accused. The article is accompanied by an excellent video abstract that is shown below. SSSI Members can access the article by clicking on the image below.
