Symbolic Interaction has just published Noreen M. Sugrue’s review of Nicholas A.  Christakis’ book “Blueprint: The Evolutionary Origins of a Good Society”. In her review, pointedly titled “Evolutionary Explanation Meets Social Reality” Dr Sugrue criticizes Christakis’ argument “that everything from social orders to interpersonal relationships will be okay” and wonders if a good society is possible even in the lifetime of her yet to be born grandchildren.
