There is a long-stanidng interest in the arts and creativity within Symbolic Interactionism. With her book “Bound by Creativity: How Contemporary Art is Created and Judged” Hannah Wohl contributes to this body of work. In his review of the book, Henrik Fuerst argues that “[T]hrough the core concept of creative vision, Hannah Wohl explores esthetic judgment, moving the perspective between different roles in the contemporary art scene.” In Fuerst’s view, the book provides “reader who wants an inside view of the contemporary art scene in New York City “with an engaging storyline, and initiated portraits of artists, dealers, and collectors.”
