Over the years, there has been considerable interest in networks and network analysis within Symbolic Interaction. Recently though, we have seen fewer interactionist studies concerned with this topic. In his review of Jan Fuhse’s book “Social Networks of Meaning and Communication” which is not an interactionist piece of work, Robert Wade Kenny highlights the importance of social network analysis for interactionist scholars.
